Biographical Sketch:

Amanda Gin, originally from Longmont, Colorado, graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Chemistry and Applied Mathematics from Colorado State University (CSU). She has research experience in physical inorganic chemistry, focusing on paramagnetic imaging probes, and industry experience in sustainable, fast-charging battery technologies. Currently pursuing a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), her work centers on developing novel materials. Amanda is passionate about scientific communication and mentoring youth interested in STEM.
