Biographical Sketch:
Chloe Wong is a Grant Writing Intern at Research Girl. She recently graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University with a B.A. in Cognitive Science and is completing her science prerequisites while gaining clinical experience in patient care.
Driven by a passion for healthcare, research, and education, Chloe believes that scientific discovery has the greatest impact when it is supported by strong funding and made accessible to the communities it serves. Through grant writing, she hopes to help researchers secure the resources needed to advance medicine while expanding opportunities for students from all backgrounds to engage with scientific research.
With experience working in health technology startups, Chloe is particularly interested in the intersection of research, innovation, digital health technologies, and clinical care. She is passionate about improving healthcare accessibility through technology and believes digital tools can help make high-quality care and health education more equitable for patients and communities. As an aspiring healthcare provider, she hopes to combine evidence-based medicine with a patient-centered approach while contributing to a healthcare system that values innovation, accessibility, and lifelong learning.
Outside of healthcare, Chloe enjoys playing tennis, photography, exploring new cafés, and learning about healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship.
